Lucie (formerly "Red Girl" in the very young puppy pictures) at 25 Months of Age
Lucie was so beautiful and sweet, we just had to keep her too!!! The old breeder adage is true, once you name a pup, you end up keeping her/him. That's just what happened with Lucie. At 8 weeks of age, we were still calling her by her collar color - "Red Girl." She was SOOOOOO sweet, we just had to give her a name, and "Lucie" was PEFECT. Well, that was all she wrote!!! As our best show prospect even at 6 weeks of age, we just had to keep her!!!
